Hiroshi Okawa

Graduated from the University of Tsukuba with a Master's degree in 1989, majoring in Plant Biotechnology. He worked for 32 years in aFood and Pharmaceutical company, where he was consistently in charge of R&D and new business development. He has been involved in development and commercialization in a wide range of sector including agriculture, food, and medicine. During his tenure, he was dispatched to a U.S. company for 7 years and also experienced commercialization of technologies developed in the U.S agri-biotech business. In the health functionality business area, he was also in charge of product development and administrative support when the Food with Functional Labeling system was introduced. As the CEO of Tech.B Consulting, an SME business consultaning firm, he provides consulting services focusing on start-up support. He is also a senior consultant at HiAc, a consulting company, and is involved in startup support activities by diagnosticians at HiNet Diagnostician's Association, to which 100 diagnosticians belong.
